About Mind Atlas
Psychology deserves explanation, not slogans.
Mind Atlas is an independent educational library for curious readers. It makes psychological research approachable without sanding away uncertainty.
What this library is for
We explain how people think, feel, remember, learn, decide, and connect. Articles distinguish effects, theories, methods, and clinical ideas, and define technical language when it first appears.
How sources are selected
We prioritize systematic reviews, meta-analyses, well-designed primary studies, and reputable academic educational sources. Foundational research provides history; newer work tests scope, robustness, and alternative explanations. A precise claim should be supported by a source that actually addresses it.
How uncertainty is communicated
Effects are not universal rules. We describe study designs, comparison conditions, populations, effect magnitude, and known limitations. We pay special attention to replication, measurement, cultural generalizability, and the distance between a laboratory task and a claim about daily life.
Updates and corrections
Every article carries a real content-update date. Material changes should revisit both the claim and its sources; corrections are integrated directly rather than hidden behind a vague “reviewed” label. Mind Atlas does not invent authors, clinical reviewers, or institutional endorsements.
